Baker High School
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Molly, for 22 years. We have two boys, Bryson and Spencer. Bryson currently attends Oregon State University and is studying kinesiology and athletic training while working toward a Pre-Physical Therapy degree. Spencer is a freshman at Baker High School and an active member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams while also competing in FBLA.
I attended Baker High School and graduated in 1988. I attended Pacific University in Forest Grove and earned a Bachelor of Science in 1993. While at Pacific University, I played football and baseball for four years and was recognized as an All-American in football following my Junior year. I attended Eastern Oregon University in 1998-1999 earning a Masters in Teacher Education.
I have taught science and natural resource management at Baker High School since 1999. I have coached football, wrestling, girls basketball, and am currently the head baseball coach at my alma mater.
I have been the athletic director since 2015 and enjoy assisting our athletic programs in their pursuit of excellence. I believe extra-curricular activities provide a great platform for student-athletes to grow as a person and a teammate. I continue to strive to improve our athletic programs and hope to make a difference in our student's lives. I believe that with adversity comes the opportunity to grow.
